Free tours Monday to Friday at any time between 09h00 and 15h00. The tour takes about 30 minutes and is included in all Safari Game activities. DAY 1 Load your luggage weekend onto our backup vehicle for transfer to Buffalo Hills. Cycle from Knysna via a magnificent route through beautiful indigenous forest and glorious fynbos. Parts of the route follow the old Knysna forest railway line, an old slip path and parts of the Petrus se Brand MTB trail. Cruise through the fynbos at Protea Wilds and arrive at Buffalo Hills. A 50 km ride that’s fairly tough but, at an easy pace, doable by most riders. Tony Cook, a qualified Mountain Biking Africa guide, will accompany you throughout the trip. For the not-so-energetic we can arrange road transfers to Buffalo Hills (or you can drive yourself and meet us there). After a scrumptious lunch, take a Safari Game Drive at Buffalo Hills Game Reserve and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure - perhaps a swim with the kids, perhaps a snooze on the sun-loungers watching the animals on the plains. In the evening take drinks at a traditional Boma Fire and enjoy dinner in the restaurant. DAY 2 Enjoy a carbo-loaded breakfast and a 35 km loop around the perimeter of the Reserve. After lunch, another Safari Game Drive or a guided Safari Game Walk through the Reserve. Dinner under African skies... DAY 3 Enjoy a final Guided Safari Game Walk and breakfast before Mountain Biking Africa transfers you back to Knysna. Please mail us buffalohills@mweb.co.za for prices .
